Chapter 1
Prompt: 2.Write about something ugly — war, fear, hate, cruelty — but find the beauty (silver lining) in it.

Fear
The beauty of fear, is that, usually when you fear something, you worry so much only to later find out that everything turned out fine. You realize that there was nothing to fear to begin with. And then you know that the next time something like that happens, you won't be as scared.
Fear makes us stronger. It takes strength to overcome your fears and move on. When you finally overcome your fear, you realize that there was really nothing to be afraid of in the first place.

No offence, but there isn't any "beauty" in any of those things except fear, and learning to conquer your fears. There isn't any beauty in war- inoccent people die in war. Hatred- the opposite of beauty, because it's cold and heartless. Cruelty- People are abused and bullied and are mistreated everyday and for some it drives them to suicide, again, not beautiful. Can you explain what you mean?
I know? I got this from a website, where they have ideas on what to write about. And one of the ideas was "Write about something ugly — war, fear, hate, cruelty — but find the beauty (silver lining) in it."
No offense, but maybe you should read more carefully before you comment on my story.
